I got the "tuna reel" part and guessing they sent you a spare part that does not match the original? My opinion..is that is no tuna reel!? LOL

Get one of these..that's a tuna reel!

Or if you want to spin for tuna..get a shimano..Anything in their range these days from saragosa upwards will handle tuna no problemo..I haven't seen one of those azores lasting more than a season here, normally far less, without gear failure or getting really rough. As a comparison, I am still spinning with my 6years old Shimano stradic and it is smooth as silk after hundreds of gamefish. Only things replaced over the years are the drag washers and line roller bearing, the drag clicker has not worked in ages but I don't like a noisy reel anyway. It caught a big elf/shad/bluefish this week and a nice cob (drum/corvina). I bought a replacement incase it broke when the new ones came out 2 years ago and it never gets fished as the old one is still going like new. That reel has been fished hard, season in and season out, and has caught hundreds of small tuna/bonito among many others.

A unica solucao se o material nao for muito rijo para mecanizar um radio como o original, para fazer um relevo contra o corpo do carreto.


Na foto parece que o carretel de fabrica tem menos espessura , portanto e possivel que se mecanize igual o original.
