« on: October 26, 2015, 05:43:24 AM »
Anyone been to Lotheni recently? Heading there for the weekend and I haven't been there for 20years. Just going to relax and do some fishing. How is the river doing

Not much to report on , farm kept me busy most of Saturday morning so got there a bit later than hoped. Had a few throws at Simes cottage dam, no takers but some big grass carp kicking around there. Went down to the main pools a bit later but the wind was howling by then so didn't stick it out to long.

Sunday spent in the river with the family so no fishing done, great weekend but no fish pictures. Apparently the water level had risen a bit over the last week. Rod fees 75 rand a day for the dam and 54 rand for the river if anyone interested
