Nice one Pedro. Hope you have many safe hours on board, and may the reels make more smoke and noise than the Yammys.  (clap)
Forgive me Father for I have spinned... It's been three weeks since my last cob session.

long and though day...ufa!!!
woke up at 5:30 and went to Naval to meet Miguel (previous owner of the TC) and To...and we drove together on To's car to Maritimo where otoro been standing
we were only able to launch after 7:30 for the short ride to Naval...while To was towing the trailer
we some wind pumping on my face I could feel the big ride difference for maguro...
but today was not a day for a ride...today was a day for tunnig and setting up the boat
so from about 10:00 (after breakfast with JohnF, Miguel and To) we spend the rest of the day...packing all my stuff...finding the best spots for the rod holders and replacing the ones originally fitted...too short and not wide enough for my fat butt rods (one of the reasons I've kept my old rod holders)
close to 18:00 we were able to fit otoro at the shed with some adjustments needed at the tight room...
we finally had time for lunch...and now I need some rest...some little stuff to do at the boat but now it's sort of customized for me

I'm looking forward for a propers fishing session....but I'll have to pick another date as for now I need to give some attention to the government

:+ cred: for JohnF for the hand

went out with the missus today for a ride to Portuguese Island
it was a wonderful day with flat seas and nearly no wind...
it was a smooth ride and we loved it...very comfy and spacious...
...and very low on petrol...with light hand I was amazed with the economy
during the week I'll finish the "fishing" setup to be able to make a plan for the weekend

on the electronics side I'm getting a garmin echomap 74sv paired with a gt41-tm chirp/downvu/sidevu transducer
unit will arrive on the 16/August and I'm keen to have it with me and test it...I will have to make a plan for where to mount the transducer and been looking at the other boats setup

just an update as not much have been done apart from some bits and pieces
- trailer job is done...previous owner built a club trailer that needed some rust and primer/paint job
(sold the original one to someone at the club...with the fixed and nearly brand new club trailer I'll make an offer to the owner of OTORO original trailer for a swap...lets hope he accept it)
- new outrigger mounts will be installed tomorrow (I've swapped the ones I had there for some more robust ones)
- echomap 74s unit arrived today and tomorrow I'll have it mounted on the boat...impressed with the size of the GT41-TM...this ducers are getting big hein...I hope that corresponds to clear UW viewings
- I've contacted Boat CC to have some lean seats made...no fancy seats with plenty storage like the ones I've seen here...basically I'll use the same seat fittings and just have a pole and lean seat made with the same upholstery and pattern I have now on the rest of the seats...production will start I believe next week and it takes 2 weeks to have them ready

Hi Pedro, that's half the fun of owning a boat is all the personal things you do to it to make it work for you. Post some pic's when it is sorted.

Awesome bro... really love the signage for OTORO

What's the output of the ironing board?
