Busy building a Sabiki rod. Making the tip was a bit of a challenge.

Very lekker, I've struggled with the ones that are commercially available as the hooks keep getting hooked on the lip on the inside of the tip. I've gone back to tossing them away after use...

Greg you can have mine, we no longer use it. The kids have much more fun with the lighter rods and to be honest you can feel bites a lot easier on the light sticks

How did you go about doing the tip?
I used pvc pipe that I heated up and flared, but the pvc is to thin and the hooks kept on hooking to the lip. I took Pratley steel putty to build up the lip.
