Do you guys add bits of sardine to the hooks?


I have used the sabiki in the past with great success in the Arabian sea with just the fly tassels...

Nah... don't add bait unless I'm desperate. Interesting, the shrimp jig in the pic caught 25 fish versus the tassels = 0, and the miinow = 0. Fish in the Kosi lakes would not touch any of the feathered jigs, only the shrimp.

Have caught Red-eye pilchard, harder and maasbanker with the Sabiki(tassle) from Kalk Bay Harbour wall as well as Harder in the Rietvlei Lagoon

Gummi makes a nice shrimp jig - shad loves it!
