(clap) Great report, Anton, and I am glad you got your first fish from your boat.  :envy Your GoPro fogging up just reminded me to buy anti-fog strips for our trip to Inhaca.  :tkx:
The last photo of Morrungulo you posted looks like it was from a high point? How did you manage that?

Hey Anton

Sorry we never hooked up while we were there, Lekker report mate, we had similar experiences to you and recall seeing you on the water a couple of times.

We had mixed bag of luck as well including a sailie that escaped photos, we however launched on the 30th in the rain and had a very Lekker cuta day. We landed 15 decent size between 7 and 10 kg and one YFT of maybe 8 kg.We decided to beach after 3 hours as we were very wet and the rain was relentless for the rest of the day.
Other than that plenty bait around and plenty Bonnie's.  We realized that macs and sards were by far better than rappies and we ran out of bait early into our stay. Karapou was in abundance but not even a tug on them.

We had one day up at Pomene that was Lekker as we drifted back for 30 odd kms and that was the sailie day but agree, not what it was a couple of years ago...

I think another look into Mtunzini/St Lucia investment will be considered as the fishing has deteriorated and the cost is heavy and it's not our country, local is Lekker....

Searaider, the cuzzies where our neighbours. Friendly bunch of people.

Slayer congrates with the sailie, did you also see the millions of flying fish? I've never seen so many in my life! The smallest ones were pinky size and the biggest as long as my forearm!

I called you on the radio a couple of times but we missed each other. You passed me just before Maputo on the morning of the 31st aswell
