Torium 50

Hi folks.
I have been offerred a Shimano Torium 50 with braid and line for a very good price. I have been out of the Competitive scene for a few years now and am thinking of getting back into "point " fishing for sharks. Any feedback as to this reels performance and any tweeks that are advised, other than to the drag?.

You can change the bushing underneath the Drive Shaft.
Add springs to the Dog Pawls.
Mag it because it doesn't have Brakes.

Those are all optional.

But to replace the Dartanium washers with Carbontex is really not negotiable.

It's a solid workhorse for heavy Ineds.

Thank you REEFMAN, I was clear about the drag, but not the paws and bushing replacement. I took the reel, it seems this person was not able to cast it well enough as it had absolutely no wear...pristine other than scratches due to being on a rod.The braid alone was more than he asked for the reel.

Awesome Reel to have in your arsenal. If you can throw it, you can get large baits out when fishng for the bigger ineds and then amazing swimbait reel. Very nice. As you may know those that have the Trini 50 hardly every get rid of them.
