Ultegra 14000 CSX

Hi All.


I need the help of some experts. I need to replace the worm gear on the Ultegra 14000 CSX. The following are the questions that i have and hopefully someone on here can help me.


2nd time this has happened to the reel.


1. What material is the worm gear made of?
2. where can i find details of the sizes of the worm gear so that i can have one made up/ engineered that is stronger than the current material used.

The reel was a mates and he has now had enough and handed it down to me and i want to solve this problem completely and not have to worry when im using the reel.
