I recently completed this kit.

1 x G. Loomis Crosscurrent GLX 9wt with Shilton SL6 and Airflo Ridge Tropical Floating Line(this is a new rod that was never fished, the proceeds of this rod and reel was transformed into tyres and a long range tank on Hennie's Toyota)
1 x Extra SL6 Spool with Airflo Ridge Clear Deep Tropical
1 x Sage Xi3 9' 12wt
1 x MHX 9' 12wt
1 x Shilton SL7 with Airflo Ridge Tropical Floating line
1 x Spare spool for SL7 with Airflo Tropical Di7 Sinking line.

MHX 9' 12Wt

This is my first reel build on an MHX.
There is a lot of hype around these blanks in the States.
A lot of builders swear by them. So I gave it a shot on this build as a backup rod.

ET your work is very very neet. Do you get the ring cork hear in the country? Asked around for it in the pas and no one could help me. Inporting was to expensive.

Pieta jy kan lokaal kry maar dis ook maar duur jong. Jy gaan kyk na R10-R15 per ring en dan is die gehalte ook maar nie altyd goed nie. R20-R30 per ring dan begin jy kyk na top gehalte. Die cheap goed is maar swak kurk.

Hoeveel ringe soek jy? Stuur my 'n email dan sit ek jou op die regte mense of as jy wil saam met my bulk order deel van Portugal af kan ons gesels.

Ek het dit vir die dunner blankies gesoek soos die bass stokkies en ander ses foet stokkies. Ek het op die oomblik net vier stokkies om te bou. Ek hou maar by die goedkooper kurk op die surf stokke. Dankie vir die mooi gebaar om jou hulp aan te bied.
