fantastic pics - We managed to come into close contact with many pods of dolphins feeding on the 2nd January in Gansbaai - it was amazing and beautiful. They are so nimble and quick in the water. However yours Orca's are a bit bigger - were you not scared at all ?

All was ok till that one got frisky... then I kept up some speed to keep them moving.. I took over 400 pics... there still a lot more but don't have time to sort them at the mo....

Great report, I had so much fun on the light tackle and 7/10 risked missing his flight to Jhb to allow me to catch the Skipjack on my light stick. The fish were wild and I think if we stayed any longer we would have filled the bout with fish.
@Willie, I dedicate that Skippy to you, I caught it on the Vengeance I got from you.
I paired the Vengeance with a Diawa Exceller 4000 loaded with 6kg braid and used one of the S-bend spoons Fritz made. It was a proper

I used to fish for Salmon off Cambell River, between Vancouver Island and the mainland and pods of those guys used to cruise by. Brings a lump to the throat. Thanks 7/10ths
