Howzit Tony. Don't think I will make this one, things are very busy with work and the new baby so think im going to do Natal with the family for a few days. Im also going to fish Tiger comp as bad as the fishing is its always a party BAFFALO.

Can we possibly pay the money into one account and one person handle the finances?

Pete, we can work out the fixed costs e.g. Accommodation, Moz paperwork, launching fees etc and pay that into an account. Then each crew is on their own for fuel, drinks and food.


Accommodation is R250 per person per night
Moz paper work is about R1000 for a crew of 4 including fishing licences
Launch fees per boat for a crew of 4 is about R1200


I'll do some phoning tomorrow and confirm the above. Can I assume that we are talking about 4 people per boat?

I have just checked that everything is still the way it is. All good, here is the breakdown.


Accommodation is R250 pppn = R5000 for crew of 4
Seaworthy and moz skippers  = R1000 for crew of 4
Launch fees for skipper & boat = R300
Passenger fee R33 pp.             = R133 for a crew of 4
Parking for 5 days.                  = R830 for crew of 4
Island Gillie.                           = R500 for crew of 4
Fishing licenses R150 pp.         = R600 for crew of 4
TOTAL PER BOAT.                     = R 8364 for crew of 4
Which works out to only R2091 per person, not bad for 5 nights on a beautiful tropical island.
On top of that you will need loot for drinks, food and fuel.
On one of the nights I would suggest going out to Lucas' restaurant for a good seafood dinner.
Buying 2M beer at the lodge is normal price, but anything else is expensive so bring your own hard stuff. Food at the camp is also expensive so plan on self catering (bring your own food)

In order to facilitate the moz paperwork I will need you to scan and attach to an email
1. A copy of each person's passport (main page)
2. A copy of your boat's seaworthy certificate
3. A copy of your skipper's licence.
