From Lens should be about 90 minutes, The dirt road is in very good condition, if your beamer doesnt have high clearance just take it slow about 8kms before you arrive at tago, a few speed bumps and ditches there, but the road is good. Tight lines, take lots of pics! Heres some fish from earlier this year  :-)

Contact details: tago@tago.co.za - 072 820 7719

Directions: (About 130 kms)

Take Henley On Klip off ramp

Drive through the town of henley on klip on Ewelme Road

Then take R59 to Deneysville

After Deneysville keep left on R716 to Oranjeville

Left turn to stay onto R716, if you go strasight you will hit a dirt road

+/- 8kms turn right onto dirt road, there is a sign which says S158 (the GPS co-ords of this road are:

26°59'21.52"S
28° 8'13.60"E

Follow the Tago signs along the dirt road for approximately 25 kilometers until you reach Tago.

Main Angling Fish Species: Barbel, Common Carp, Mirror Carp, Grass Carp, Smallmouth Yellowfish, Largemouth Yellowfish, Mudfish.

Spots: As you enter if you go left the area is deeper than on the right. Good Barbel fishing on the right. Better Carp fishing along the left hand side.

Baits: (Carp) Bunspice Floaties, Plain Floaties, Juana Mielies, Perdeby Mielies, Sweet Dough, Banana Dough, Plain Mallows.

Dips: Strong smelling, with lots of fluoro.

Casting Distance: 60 - 180 meters.

Barbel Bait: Cjicken Heart, Ox Heart, Grass Carp head.

Casting Distance - 100 meters +

General Info: When there are not a lot of anglers fishing it is a beautiful quiet and tranquil place.
There are many club comps that happen here though so book before you go.
The fishery is still very healthy with plenty of juvenile Yellowfish around.
If you want to get a 10kg Barbel this is the place.
Can get very hot and there are not many trees so shade is essential.

Tags sound like an awesome spot. I'm also from Lenasia, think i also should plan a trip there.
Can you camp over there and is it safe. Also what the entrance fee like.
