Mornings East Coasters , well we on a dark moon spring this weekend and please be aware of the slight surge in the sea.....you have a low tomorrow at 09h45 and on Sunday at 10h30 and these tides are very good for most spots along the Jikeleza......[/size]Winds will be light east in the AM and stiffening in the arvie , so the windows once again will be the early AM...[/color]
[/size]Spots to look out for will be Cintsa point,,,Bulugha point and Glengariff...dont discount the ledges in front of the Yellow sands caravan park....Another spot thats worth a throw with this water is the kwelerga village side...Of note is that the inshore water from Gonubie point through to germans bay is on the grubby side , BUT there are a number of spots along the East Coast that will have blue water.[/color]
Sea temp is around the 18 mark , so it looks like a good sea and we just hope that the front approaching doesnt affect the water and conditions too much.
There have been reports of shad making a showing and we are approaching that time of the year when we start keeping a look out for the sards and this always is an exciting time...
Well Folks thats all for the time being and lets get out there and get those lines in the water!!!!
Remember , stay alert at the waters edge as we have heard recently of the fisherman washed off the rocks in the Transkei ... so be carefull ou there and always pick up the litter!!!

Mornings East Coasters , well weve come off a heavy dark moon spring and now on a nip tide weekend BUT as of this AM the sea still has a slight east surge on it...the water temp is around the 17 mark and the shore line is a tad grubby with the odd blue/green patches to be found....
With that high ridging in , we will have a strong east puffing the most of Saturday and as that cold front licks our coast , we can expect the west to come through quite stiff on Sunday ,
A fairly large swell is predicted , which is being caused off shore by that VERY low low pressure off south in the deep blue....swell and a sea state of plus 4,5 meters is expected and that in turn will spill out to , at least a 6 to 8 foot swell running on the shore line , so be alert out there Folks as a nip tide the tide wont move much BUT be aware of the swell size...
On Sat you have a high at 07h00 and on Sunday at 08h00..
Spots to look out for would be Cefani , left of the river always works well on a high outgoing ,,,another spot on an early AM high is Glen gariff off the ledges.....Those that want to venture in town , Green gates at eastern beach also looks good at the moment...
Some very nice kob have come out along the beaches at Cintsa and this might also be an option if the sea is a bit up this weekend..

..Hi Gareth , not much at all....heard of one kob at Bonzas and few odds and sodds
