We threw for some raggies yesterday but there was so much weed in the water we decided to move elsewhere. We went to the sandbar and threw some smaller baits, I got an embriyo of a cape stumpy with some micro fishing tactics hehe and aimee got a very nice stumpy about 25cm. That was it. Didnt have time to fish this morning, up to my eyes in my work

Myself and Aimee just came back from pumping some sand prawn, we are launching AD97's boat on the bushmans river in 2 hours or so, hopefully we will get a couple of decent fish...

So the boat didn't quite work out so many problems and we basically spent 3 hours last night moving boats. Oh well, so we went to riet today to have a look around and we walked right, not a lot of action just a klipfish came out, for the comp tomorrow we will def be walking left we will be fishing the gullies inbetween the bricks to try get species and points we have not had success with the bigger eds and non eds so wish us luck let's see what happens!

Thanks guys. We have called it a day and it wasn't a great day I got an embriyo of a puffer fish, but aimee got a new species and an uncommon one at that, a 27cm banded galjoen!! On 8lb braid, the chaffing, sunburn, cold water was worth it for that! Was an awesome fish, and a positive for me I finally got the 7 turn uni and 3 fig8 knot for attaching leader to braid.

today we fished kariega bridge for a bit with pink prawn, aimee got 2 shad about 25cm on the quantum triax reel with 10lb rovex viros braid, I did not fair so well. Again, and just got a pinky. We are going to grab a chow and fish the kenton marina into the dark.

Great stuff...

We fished the marina last night, lots of small fish around so I tried some micro fishing

got a tiny Pinky and a new species for me, a type of Blenny, very strange fish, going to have fun IDing this one

since its Tuesday, back to work, hopefully will be able to go fish off the bricks at some stage today!
