Honeymoon in the Midlands
« on: October 11, 2012, 03:19:52 PM »
We are going on honeymoon to the KNP as well as the Midlands in November.

I have been granted permission to pack the #3 for a bit of fishing.

Can anyone please assist with some possible venues to fish as well as recommendations on flies.

  Regards.
Frederick

Best knowledge is local knowledge - pop in at the local flyfishing clubs or tackle shops where you will be staying.

Definitely pop into the Wildfly fishing shop and chat to Jan or Juan (if your close to Nottingham road area)
November temps are a bit high for still water trout in the area but the Bushmans river is must if you can find the time, and can deliver good fishing that time of year (Browns,Rainbows & Scallies).

I love not man the less, but nature more
