Why so few fishing reports?
« on: October 11, 2012, 11:22:55 AM »
As I have a month to go before getting to the coast again, I check for fishing reports everyday on the site.

Why don't I see anything? Is nobody fishing or is everone blanking? Or are you lucky buggers at the coast to busy fishing to post?

My last 3 trips delivered nothing of note.  Will do a proper report as soon as the east winds start blowing....

I think the weather has played a big role too! Just judging from the fields every week at the shark tank Durban has had a lot of rain

:hehe:  I can cast very very far!!

OK, so I am going offshore fishing tomorrow but it really is the first good weather in a long time. Our coastline was pestered by big swells all winter long.

have not launched in 6 weeks as weather has been terrible. There has been somefish caught albeit a few.Heard some charter boats really battled last weekend for bottoms. Got to agree with Mike the guys have been battling. It is the change in season.I see the water is warming up in Durban sitting at around 22deg on average not long before we break the 24deg mark and summer fishing really starts.( I hope)
