SHIMANO SIENNA 4000 SERVICE TUTORIAL

So here is my first service tutorial :yipee:  hopefully with the fact that I have two left hands as well as 10 thumbs people will be less intimidated to attempt such a thing themselves!
 
I was extemely impressed by this reel, before servicing it I had used it on a couple of trips for spinning and landed a few small black tail as well as a very juvenile garrick. I also hooked and fought a +- 50kg diamond in the Kariega river which had the poor reel billowing smoke from the drag stack! The reel has been dunked in water and sand a few times and the only maintenance was a rinse off in fresh water. To be honest I expected carnage inside the reel. What I found blew me away! No damage other than some dry and dirty drag washers. There were no signs of corrosion nor any sand in the body of the reel.
For its retail price of between R250 and R350 I cannot recommend this reel enough

I have attached the schematics from http://fish.shimano.com/media/fishing/SAC/techdocs/en/Spinning/05SN4000FB_v1_m56577569830641773.pdf because the schematics with the reel are printed on the side of the box duh this makes scanning and enlarging them quite difficult.
