Hi Rory

Thanks for the update..... Bad news indeed.

Did it break through the old mouth or closer to Mappies?

Cheers
Wes

the river has broken through the beach so the umfolozi is open to the sea, not great as that water is supposed to be filling up the lake

O no that is not good news

What are the chances of them closing it and routing it into the estuary again.

Surely they realise that will be best course for the system since they are no longer in denial?

Morning Gents

I am getting conflicting reports????

Can anyone confirm if the mouth breached at Mappies or close to the Channel they dug to the Estuary??

Is any water flowing into the Estuary or is it all going out to sea?

Is the back channel still operational and flowing in at honeymoon bend??

Thanks
Wes
