BENNIE sorry to bother you so much on this but I have read up a bit on reference material I got hold of. It seems that if you add the GVM of your vehicle and GVM of trailer and add them together and this exceeds >3500kg, then you need an EC license. The two GVM's add to what they call GCM - Gross Combination Mass. Is this correct?
Bennie I tow with a 2.5 diesel Navara and it's fantasticthere is also an uprated 2.5 diesel as wellbut that 3.0 L would be perfect
DVD? Tell us more - Shag becoming a celeb?
Bennie - be a man and get a 200 series cruiser! Man I love those cars.I guess you could get a Navarra and rip off the Nissan badge? I don't understand why the Hiluxes are rated so low.One thing I love about mine is the auto - extra torque and unbeatable for beach work.N
Nee sies Bennie, don't ruin all the hard work by adding a Landy! The cruiser (even the station wagon model) is actuallly comparable to the Hilux in price.
And have you seen the price of a new Hilux?
I'm probably wrong, but that doesn't sound right to me?Anyway, back to the topic, is your bakkie struggling or is it the legal thing?
It's a legal thing. Bakkie has plenty power! But I do think the bakkie is too light in the ass!
Try sticking 4 bags of cement on the back or a 200l water tank. If all else fails I can tow you with my baby....
