This is something I've been thinking about for a while and finally got to a solution I think it will solve my problem: keeping baits alive in the luna tubes for a bit longer than 1,5-2 h. They tend to rub their nose in the funnel of the luna tube and close their mouth which causes their death eventually.
The poles are 3/4 pipes PVC divided into two sections of 45 cm. These have a small piece of cord with a swivel clip on top and a 3/4 coupling fitting makes it easy to remove the top section when not in use.
The whole idea is to suspend the bait inside the luna tube by the tail with an elastic band, which will then be connected to a swivel clip right at the top of the pole.
The poles are attached to the tuna tubes with large cable ties and the bottom section rests on the deck.
