Another rod you can look at is the Daiwa MonsterMesh... light to medium jigging stick that punches well above it's division. Reasonably priced too.

After some good reports, and advice from a guy I know that fishes dropshot exclusively from the boat, I bought a Travella medium heavy. It feels very good, but still to be tested.
 
At the price, it will have to be pretty bad to not be a good buy.
 
Hoping to bend it propper with Carlos soon!
