Good morning Reefman,

I just want to thank you for all your casting tutorials :win: .
I   have only started angling a few months ago and I am slowly getting the   casting right. At least I am not dumping the sinker on my toes anymore :happ: . And its all thanks to your tutorials. THANK YOU

For those interested in light lure casting; have a look at the two youtube videos:

18g casting plug on 0.25mm mono / 0,38mm mono leader; Abu multiplier distances reached are in excess of 125m.

There is definitely place for techniques similar to those used for 5oz plus casting viz-a-viz weight transfer, drop adjustment  stance etc when throwing light stuff, not just flick...

Earlier on in this post Tony made mention of high vs low inertia casts i.e. placement of sinker relative to the rod; high inertia will assist in loading an otherwise "heavy" rod with a lighter weight.
