Stella SW 18000 bearing

My old Stella 18K, the sliver and gold model, is in need of a new line roller bearing. Where is the best place to get a replacement?


Or maybe a better bet would be to get it completely serviced, and my 10K as well, any suggestions?


I'm in Limpopo so would have to postnet reels to whoever.
Reels are needed by September 7 at the latest.

Do you have a set of vernier calipers?
Thinking you can measure the bearing (ID x OD x W) and see if we can find an alternative should Shimano not have one.

Thanks mate. I will measure the bearing tonight in case Shimano can't help. Do you have time to service a couple of Stellas before Sept 7?

I am in Piet Retief so not close to major stores. Had the same problem so i inported from Boca bearings. Stanles cage with ceramick bals. Try them it is easy

Thanks for this, but I only noticed the issue while re spooling under tension the other day - and my next trip is just around the corner so don't think I have time.

BMG, bearing man group have supplied my replacement line roller bearings, still going strong, lasted as long as the originals and the line roller the hardest working grinder bearing so quality should be fine if you just need a standard (non ceramic) salt resistant bearing?
 I'm sure fishatic knows where to source though LOL..

A big thank you to Brandon for servicing my reels in quick time. He has managed to rescue the line roller on the 18K for now, we will look at replacing it after my Lazarus trip in a weeks time. Fast, efficient and affordable service.
