Humansdorp/ East London December fishing trip

Hi U.A members this is a 2 part question.


1st?- Has anybody been fishing in Humansdorp or surrounding area? Wife and i been invited by a friend to  stay on his family farm, apparently 10 km outside of Humansdorp. Will be there from the 19 Dec till the 1 Jan and have to take some rods, know J-bay is close so any any advice appreciated.


2nd?- Wife decided have to go visit her family in East London (while in the area), so any body know of a good place to put up a tent in the East London/ Gonubie area. Only going to be there for 3 days/2 nights. I have not been to Gonubie since my Granpa died like 20 years ago.




Any help would be appreciated

Humansdorp is about +/-15 km inland . St Francis is pretty close and has great fishing . Have a look at the report Adam done http://www.ultimateangling.co.za/index.php?topic=12234.0

Hey Drew a few years back we camped at Kwelera River (Cant remember the name of the resort), but it was on the river and about 1.5kms to the mouth we got lots of Grunter and Kob in the river and the guys were catching nice eds in the surf, maybe check out a few sport there

Not to worry wife has now changed her mind,again (as women do) and decided we staying at family's place.
