Off the ground casting,Video comments needed.

Hi guys,


I got inspired by a thread in this casting section to upload a video.
Can I please get some of your guys opinions about what I can work on to improve.

My setup:
Shimano beastmaster surf pro heavy action, 7-8oz tip.
6 oz bottle sinker.
0.9mm  leader.
0.45mm  mainline.
Daiwa saltist 50h,

Clip is very dark can't realy see what's happening.

Suzi, from what I can see, it looks like you're starting the cast with a slow drag of the sinker across the ground? Think you need to build up more inertia and momentum at the startup point, by getting the sinker to lift off the ground quicker? So basically a bit more force needed in the startup? Maybe a slightly quicker and more forceful takeaway?

Will do, I also think my timing is off when i am releasing the spool?


Will practise to start faster and avoid the draging.
