Bwana  thanks for the info.After the 2nd session we did down scale on the leaders and tied 80lb flouro carbon on, yet we still had no joy.

After that session I had put the stella's on the lighter rods even at the risk of breaking them just to try tame those beast but I never managed to get out of bed to make the early morning session to test the rod theory on the last day

I am busy prepping like mad for Inhassoro in April , were you using wire assist hooks on the jigs and a length of wire above?

Thanks Shaun, we used no5 american wire for the assist hook and yet we still got bite offs

As for wire above the jigs and drop shot heads it did not work as the water was just too clean and we never got bites so we only used flouro carbon there.
