As in to use as a windon or as a main line ???

Nylon is much more abrasion resistant than braid IMHO.

Dacron is mutch more abrasive then mono or braid but is alot heavier and makes for a lot more drag in the water

Agree, dacron is super strong and super abbrasive, but just not practical as main line in my opinion.

What I was thinking is why not use Dacron as windon leader without nylon. Reefman explained to me that it is to soft to cast.
Thanks
