"Pylie"
is actually a bad term... it refers to a broad band of fish called Stingrays or Pylsterte - hence the confusion. Then there are Skates as well, which adds to the confusion...
Generally, Skates have shorter, thicker tails than Stingrays, but this is not always the case...
Here are some pics of the more commonly caught, but often confused Rays and Skates...
