Well December I went with some friends to Morrungulo Bay Moz for holiday.
We started to holiday on arrival with

. So the holiday went along not much fishing as my Daiwa reel decided his not working.
With the socializing of us I met our buurmanne next to us. Gino had his boat there and finding out about my birthday he woke me up early the day before it. Surprised and 'dik deur die slaap' I was like uhmm whats going on and he tuned me " kom boet wil jy nie gaan visvang nie " well not thinking about anything else I was up and we went off. We launch and I never witnessed such a smooth launch and such calm waters. It was a beautiful sunrise and about 5km in the sea we saw a flock of birds diving and immediately started to put out our 4 rod spread with rapalas on.
We passed the school and

first strike. Freek , Gino's friend was first up, fish close to boat, missed gaf, off is the well sized YFT

.
No worries we start to troll again following and passing the school,

goes one rod, my turn, line stripping like crazy off the SL50SH and after 3/4 of the line is off I turn the fish, then about 30 m from the boat the fish just run again, 3 times this happened and then 'slap' line.

while reeling in it broke at the knot onto the swivel.
Tired after 40min of fighting I take a break and steer the boat as we troll again searching for the school. We find them and pass them again suddenly

as 2 reels scream and freek and gino takes and bring in 2 nice YFT.
After that

again and I'm happy some nice YFT's
Then the school left and we went off to drift, but nothing for like 2 hours. The wind then picked up and we left for shore.
Arriving my friends were very 'jaloers' but happy to see some fish to eat.
I thank guys like Gino and Freek for giving me this perfect birthday gift and for a super trip out to sea.
That night we celebrated my bday

and ate like kings.
Mozambique is true-ly an awesome place. And it will see me many a times.
