Sorry it is just 5km out side form Oranjeville on you way to Jim Fouche
on the vaaldam.

Okay...

What you will need:
1. Plain floaties.
2. Dips: FX, Kiana, Perdeby, Vaaldam, TCP, Boogeyman, Vicks, Devilsfork(Yellow Activator), Looti.
3. Juana Mielies(Supercast)

Combos:
Bait...
1. Floatie on one hook and Sweet dough on the other.
2. Floatie with a dough backing on one hook and a worm or mielie on the other hook.
3. Worms on one hook and mielies on the other.
4. Don't be afraid to experiment a bit...

Dips:
1. FX, Kiana and Perdeby on the bomb
2. Vaaldam and TCP on the bomb.
3. A spot of Vicks on the bomb covered with Looti
4. Boogeyman alone on the bomb or with Looti.
5. Devilsfork(Yellow Activator) alone or with FX on the bomb.
6. FX and Perdeby.

Recipes:
Boogeyman: One bottle Entressdrops(Lennons at you local Pick&Pay). Pour into 50ml glass bottle and fill with honey. Add just a few grains of red fluorescein to turn the mix pink.

For Vicks I use Eucalyptus oil from any pharmacy. Use very little as a lot will chase the fish away.

PS: This is almost all the stuff you will need at the Vaal. I rarely need anything else.

i have made the Boogeyman yesterday .
i see that my son and i have the plain floaties and fxn and tcp.

We are having Gauteng C-league at Erasmus(Rooibult) just past Jim Fouche. So I hope the advice I gave you works for me too! Hahaha!

i was speeking to one of my friend yesterday he told me that his brother
went fishing there about 2 week.
 
this is what they sent me sorry my afrikaans is not that good .
 
   1 Al twee hoeke wurms, dip onderste hoek en onderste gedeelte van bom in buttervanilla, dip dan alles die hele trys in groen fx,         2 Wurm, deeg met strawlic en Rose-almond (jy kry hom nou saam gemeng)        3 In die bom het ons gemeng-custard poeier en groen florecine,         4 Al ons vis het op wurms uitgekom, ons het ook voer plek gemaak,         Gewone deeg met dam water gebruik.

Should work aswell. I tend to streer away from too much of anything that floro in the feed as its ussually atract smaller fish. I know someone who had a social comp at Biermans and he caught most of his fish on worm, but his total of 10 fish weighed only 2.3kg.

But as I said, don't be afraid to experiment too much. And remeber the Juana Mielies(not the dip). It costs around R14 and if you leave it for a while you should get nice fish. Caught this fish at ardenza...
