UA only accepts Image files that ate 400kb or smaller. Posting files that are larger takes up unnecessary space and members' bandwidth. To resize your pics simply....

If you are using Internet Explorer ....

Download - http://www.bricelam.net/ImageResizer/

Install this program, then you can resize pics on the right click.

PLEASE NOTE:If you're starting out with pics that are shot in High resolution, 3 or 4 meg per picture, then this resize process will NOT make your pics small enough to be below 400kb. You will have to do both... or, get a Graphics programme like GIMP to properly resize your pics....

Some of us, I for one don't use Microsoft Internet Explorer, but here are some handy programs for resizing images.  Works on same the principle as Admin described.

Freeware, so no problems

XP/Vista

There is a program irfanview, also free that does batches(1-1 000 000)
