Skewer sticks for Measurement !!!

Hi Guys ,
 
Many anglers carry skewer sticks for measuring fish etc ...for those that dont have measuring mats etc ...
This is done to so that we can get fish back to water asap .
 
Just an idea that i had ,
These sticks are very similar to the colour of sand & you may tend to lose them .
 
What i have done is paint them a diff colour ..
Pic 1 is an original stick .
Pic 2 is a painted one .... I decided to Bling mine ..ran out of gold dust though  ... :hehe:
 
Use any colour u want .
 
use it or don't ...  w;k

Great idea Kumz!

One could actually use different colors for different species?! I'm assuming one breaks the stick to the right size of the fish... so after a fishing session one ends up with 3 different size pinks, 2 x greens, etc...

How long are the sticks, Kumz?

Nah John F... fish lies flat on the beach, stick a stick into the sand at nose point, another in the sand at the fork of the tail. Take fish, return to sea, come back, measure length of fish between the 2 sticks...

I always carry two dial sticks....been doing so for years but this kebab stick will work just as good.....

When the fish does die (and hope it does not) you can an have a fish kebab right by the seaside....PERFECT... :hehe:
