Glow sticks
« on: November 09, 2010, 04:15:44 PM »
Hi UA anglers,
thought I'd just share with you anglers that fish at night a little trick I've used for a while. I scotch tape a small glow  stick to the tip of my rod so that I can see any action on my line in the dark.  Any small amount of movement is highly visible and the glow sticks work for many hours and are not expensive.
I know life's a gamble, but I'm taking that chance anyway.

My son gave me a pack of glow sticks he bought in Dubai and these last for 12 to 15 hrs. I fished with one from around 8pm and next day at lunch time went into garage and it was still glowing in the car boot. :sml:
I know life's a gamble, but I'm taking that chance anyway.
