Hi gents,
After a very tough day out on the Vaal river this Saturday which passed (we did a 11km drift from Schoemansdrift bridge, flows were at 9.24 so was a slog) I was rewarded with an awesome small mouth yellow of 4.05kg

My PB to date.
However, 400m from the end my mate who was on the boat with me slipped and fell on my rod snapping the tip. I phoned Stealth in JHB and they have discontinued the rod so do not have stock of the tips which would have only cost me R170 if they had stock. They suggested I take the rod to them and see if any newer models don't fit my rod, this poses a problem as I am some 180km away and don't want to drive through to JHB just for that (Stealth 6-7WT 9ft model 9067).
So my questions are: Is it fixable? Can I fix it myself and how should I go about it? Is there perhaps anyone in the Klerksdorp area who fixes rods that I can take it too?
Kind regards
Nathan
