Line Roller Re-Install
« on: April 23, 2019, 01:10:45 PM »
Hi,

Is there a correct direction to re-install back the line roller?  Or all reels makers are standard where the wider section is facing toward the screw area? Please help, thanks.

Reel makers are not standard, in anything!

What reel is it? The Schematic diagram should give you a good idea of which way it fits?

Here's what the Sustain looks like...

:FST:My reel is a pflueger saltwater series. I scan the small schematic and enlarge it in my laptop still can't see which way to reinstall back in. Only know that part is a line roller. Damm schematic is so small, only briefly tell you the parts number.

The recess where the Line roller fits snugly into the bail arm should tell you if it;s right or not. The groove where the braid fits into shouldn't be too close to either side ie: the groove should be in the middle of the roller once installed?
