Ja that top pic looks like a PEI fish, not cape fish or SBT.

SBT swimming around in the deep nowadays but not that size of the first pic! The longliners been reporting them recently off our coast, on deep set lines.

Getting a cape tuna charter between a few mates is something you will NOT regret! And your freezer will overflow, just make sure you have a good vac packing/biltong setup and it becomes cheaper than getting your meat at P&P. The tuna, yellowin and longfin off cape town, when they are around and when the weather co-operates, is something else! 200lb monsters being hand fed in the chumline is something you never forget!

The guy that sent the pics has no reason to lie to me. Perhaps he was misinformed..?

Guess so. It is also in a Pelagic catalogue and is also shown on "InTheBite"

It's a Bluefin Tuna, caught in Nova Scotia, Canada, by Giant Bluefin Tuna Charters.
