Reel Tite-Inhaca Oct 2018
« on: October 23, 2018, 02:42:30 PM »
Howzit Gents, just a quick little trip report. We went upto Inhaca on the 9th October for 6 days and had a decent trip. There was no real fireworks but we got some decent fish. The weather was not the best and we had to Put in a few hours in the cold and rain to get a couple fish! We got a bit of everything and tried different techniques. The water was not right for Marlin so we didnt bother heading to the Deep! I was very impressed with the results we had on slow pitch Jigging and its a really nice way to Jig without breaking yourself! Here are a couple pics of what we got....we ended with 14 Species and some nice Wahoo and Dorado's!

Dugong sorry i just saw your Enquiries regarding accommodation etc. We have a private Spot at Inhaca but Accommodation options are wide open and you can get a place from around the R300 pppn upto R3000pppn, it depends what you want. Places to look at are Manico, Ross Ramos and Camp Mad Marlin, these are more affordable and offer decent facilities for fisherman. More upmarket and quite larney but very very nice are Chamfuti and Nayheeni Lodges. Fuel is about the same price as SA, on the island its about R1 more a litre than in Maputo. Hope it helps, cheers!
