Any shops that do quality reel services

I normally do all my own reel services and Im reasonably proficient at it but this weekend I attempted to service my Ultegra. This thing is beyond my skills! In fact Im sure the chaps at Nasa would battle to do it. So anyone know of someone who does a good job servicing reels?

Still trying to find the time to do my own!
The Ultegra is very difficult to service completely.
But if you sit down and patiently go through the tut on it, you should be able to do it Brad.

For the Cape town guys , Jonothan Williams is the best guys around , he also does Mods and upgrades , hes also got some other relevant lubes ect for sale . [not much help for you guys but very much worth a mention ]

Exactly why I need to find a shop to do it. I think we are all busy enough with our own stuff duh

I tried it on the weekend and managed to damage the spool shaft bearing duh duh

Eish Brad...
The only guys I would trust with this are the agents VMC Rapala... check on their website and give them a call.
I wouldn't trust a jhb tackle shop to do this... your reel might come back worse for wear.

Pitty you are not in Durban. Steven from Tackle Centre does a brilliant job with the grinders. He is servicing a number of the KZN anglers' grinders.

Remembered some family are going down to the coast this weekend. Going to get Mark at the tackle box to sort it out. I trust them to do a good job and most important I trust them to tell me if they cant do it properly

Take it to NASA bud... they'll blow it up for you then you can claim a new one  :-)
