Will be very nice to see this. I am a bit wurried about the needle bearing you are talking aboute. Needle bearing have alot more friction than ball bearings. Keep us posted.

Looks very interesting, must say that I've been thinking of doing something similar but with using a one way sprag bearing like they use in fly reels just bigger for a 10 inch KP. Looking forward to seeing the finnished product
