DIY Floats
« on: September 13, 2013, 06:39:40 PM »
When fishing i love using a float for certain target species and while perusing the different tackle shops, the prices of floats are getting ridiculous ranging from R3 - R4.30 for a small round float. played around with the idea of making my own !  :hehe:   checked around in the yard and found a broken hinge of my kids dollhouse that was destined for the trash can. cut the metal straight having a flat point ....well the pics is self explanitory !

now i have plenty a float  :rotfl :hyst:
Dare to be great..or you never will be.

Have been punching my own floats for a number of years , using 3/8 Stainless and 1/2 inch pipes .

Works like a charm , with a Stopper knot too .
