I am off to Vic Fall for my father-in-laws 60th B-Day! Its a surprise holiday.
I would like to know can one get a charter to take one Tiger fishing on the Zim side ( We are staying on the Zim side). Are there Tiger fish there?
I am a R&S fisherman, so Tiger fishing is new to me, but I have no doubt that it will put a massive smile on the old mans face if he hooks one of those beauts!
Any advice or info will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Hi Lupo. I am not sure about any contacts on the Zim side, it has been some years since I fished there, but to cross the border to Livingstone is very easy and you can do so for a day, or a half day. Angle Zambia offer very good half day or full day fishing excursions from that area. Their e-mail adress is anglezam@microlink.zm
Give them a shout and see what they suggest.

There are Tigers in the Zim side of Vic falls, have fished the Zambia side with fly gear before and didnt land anything, hooked a small tiger that threw the fly... good luck hope you get a few! Its definitely worth it, even for the experience!

Thanks WalkersKiller. I am so looking forward to the trip. It will be my first time outside SA and Nam in Africa. I figure since I am there I might as well give tiger fishing a shot even if its for half a day. Maybe when I come back I will be fortunate enough to post a pic of monster that I caught. :dunno:
fshg except with teeth. :hehe:
