I understand completely I also blame my freakishly big hands for making my fish look small :cry:

yes, nice fish
the sa record for thise species is around 12. something kgs.

the unofficial sa record is one of 13.65kg caught on a spoon at?

Cape Vidal light house area.

Blacktip kingfish at Creche, Ponta do Ouro. The current valid scientific name is Carax heberi

we get big schools of them off the jolly but dont get much bigger than 2.5kgs but good sport on light tackle
