I think this guy launched a little before reaching the slip.

That's what happens if you don't chain the boat. So many guys only use straps - Get some chains before your boat lads on your lap.

My boat is held down with turnbuckles, but what you buy out here don't have a lock nut so fit a locknut and it will not come off
