Title: Need advice- Blade HMG 8-10 oz vs Saltist 8-12oz

Hi


I am looking at buying a second hand Blade HMG 8-10oz or maybe saving up for a Saltist 8-12oz.


I am going to use a Saltist 50 with which ever one I get. And is going to be used for Sliding. And will only be using it a few time a year.


Just wanting to know what your opinions/Advice is on both rods? And if you have other suggestions?

The Assassin Blade and the Pentagon Medium were the best heavy tackle rods ever made. The Blade is still my go to rod for sliding. It's a no brainer for me. If it was a Saltiga rod, then there can be a discussion, but the Saltist is not in the same class as the Blade, in my opinion.
