Hi i recently bought a 2nd hand rod with the green corrosion on its eyes, is there any chemical one can recommend to remove it?

I use a diluted mixture of vinegar , and Luke warm water .
Don’t let it soak too long , or make your vinegar water mix too strong .
Use a cloth , to rub it off , will take a bit of effort .
I then let the rod dry , and spray some , silicon spray on them , wipe excess of .
Pretty sure , some of the other guys have better plans and / or products to suggest .
