Title: Vaal Dam 03/10

Went out to the Vaal Dam ( about 2 kms past Draaifontein). Caught 9 carps and 2 barbel for the day. All carps were between 1 and 3 kgs.
Bait used was SWD and bunspice floaties.

Oh the barbel took on mielies.

Tried fishing off the ski but the wind was a bit too strong.

Sidd how far were you casting and do you know at what depth you were fishing?  :tkx:

Distance was between 60 and 80 meters. Depth was constant around 2.5m

The barbel were below 5 kgs.

I put out a small carp but no takers...
