Title: John F's DIY: Turning an outboard crate into a mobile bench
Post by: John F on April 24, 2015, 06:40:54 PM
My new outboard motors came tightly packed inside a metal crate.

After the motors were fitted, I tought of re-using the crate instead of throwing it away.

Gave it a coat of paint, added 4 wheels (2 with brakes) and job's done!!!!

Some other additions include a spooling arm (thanks peterblace!), planks at the bottom and a rod holder!

Plenty of space to keep tackle boxes and other junk!

(clap) Good one. Why waste what can be used. A mobile fish cleaning table is also very handy.  :hnthnt:

:corrct: The second outboard's crate was turned into a multi-tasking stand for peterblace - including a cleaning table!
