My son lost his safety bottle lid with Gopro attached between Mapelane and the Jolly Robino on the weekend of 13/14 Sept. Finders keepers if any one happens to find it but we would really appreciate getting the pictures and videos back.

Hope someone finds and returns it Plugger. sry

Agreed Gareth it would be great but just a question, how would anyone know who it belonged to :dunno:

Yeah not holding out too much hope but maybe someone on the forum reads it ? Can always get another GoPro but the pictures are gone.

This wont help your son Plugger, but could be of use to others. Write your contact details on an A4 piece of paper, film it for a few seconds, then lock that clip on the memory card or cards you use. Should you ever lose the camera, there is a chance a good citizen may return it. It's worth a shot.

My mate found one on a reef off Inhambane last year and they traced the owner from car reg in pics - never say never!!

Good idea Crankman ! I'm amazed that the camera was still functional after a year ! Apparently drifted from Bazley to Umkomaas ?
