Title: Spion kop dam

Has anybody fished Spion kop dam.Near Winterton.
Where and how  if you can.
Bribed the wife to visit the inlaws on condition we go fish Spion kop for a day. :happ:

Sorry for late response. Fishing from the picknick spots you will only catch small stuff.
We take bthe boat to the top at the river mouth and catch huge carp, barbel and scallie.
Let me know when you up this way again.

Been there the past weekend but did not get a chance to wet a line.

Ye. We were up at the top last Tuesday and spent the night up there on the boat , froze our asses off but caught some nice carp and scallies.
