Who is fishing the overs and unders this year?

im keen hey!

A few of you “2012” 44 year old youngsters that were able to fish in the Under's side last year have celebrated your 45th birthdays this year and are now officially “over the hill”….Sorry about this… BUT not to worry -- there is a consolation!!
You can now fish for a WINNING overs team….
Besides their distinguished good looks, their top-of-the-range ski-boats… the ones their wives let them buy while they were in their mid-life crisis & of course their YEARS & YEARS of experience they can also fish!
So although you now old, most probably grumpy, widening at the hips & don’t quite get the response you want when chatting up all the young girls, at least you can now FINALLY catch a fish!!
Obviously we are in no way biased, we do urge all under 45 year olds to consider carefully if you really want to enter this competition….

Overs & Unders Update 2
I just received a mail from one of our youngest “overs” scolding me for sending out the wrong date in the very first mail sent out approximately a month ago….
To confirm… I am naturally blond (as pointed out by Mr Venter) and therefore do make MANY mistakes…
Please note….
Overs and Unders will take place on SUNDAY 27TH October ONLY not on SATURDAY! J

If last weekend is anything to go by Guru was calling 8-10knts but it was blowing 22 at 05h00 Sunday morning. I know this cause I drove all the way from PMB!!!!! duh duh duh getting desperate to fish :cnfzd :cnfzd

Good Idea
Need help here boys and girls, please put your votes forward including senior members whether it effects you or not. If we are to keep it as the over and unders UA trophy then I think the by rule should be a fish off on the same weekend if the other day is fishable or it goes to the O who has caught the biggest fish within a month either side of the compo as adjudged by Oompa and Mr Cotton as the senior men on the block. If we are to change the trophy to the banter trophy then we can do a fish off any time in the rest of the year. :dunno: :dunno: :dunno: :dunno:
My vote is the former, as in the overs and unders on the day/fish off on the weekend and in no fishing then the UA fisherman for the biggest fish ......... One big question is what about the fish caught not in the Durban area. I am not sure if it is open to KZN does Ant get it or Bwana or one of the members who have caught a bigger fish off Sodwana cape vidal richards bay :dunno:
I would also like to suggest that we get another trophy for a banter group fish off :happ: :geet :vio :creep: :dunno:

Anyway windguru predicting a big SW so think the comp going to be settled at the long brown counter upstairs
